Soil Conditioner & Clay Breaker

Terra Firma’s Natural Gypsum is an all-natural, locally sourced, high grade clay breaker which is screened to <3mm to improve ease of application. Natural gypsum is the most cost-effective way to apply Calcium & Sulphur, especially to tight and compact soils. It works by separating clay particles through a natural chemical reaction that does not alter the soil pH in the process.

By loosening tightly packed clay particles, Natural Gypsum improves soil aeration, water and nutrient cycling within the soil, and root growth. Natural Gypsum can also help to ameliorate sodic soils by flushing out the sodium attached to soil colloids (clay & soil organic matter particles) and replacing that sodium with calcium.

Spread approx. 200-500 grams per square metre & incorporate into soil.

Agriculture & Horticulture

Apply no more than 200g per square metre at planting for all vegetables and annual flowers twice yearly.
